A PICU, Pediatric Intensive care Unit, this is a specific unit for children only. In these care place you may work in trauma room with children who have come in from an accident, or you may work in rooms of children coming in with a long term illness.
Nurses get paid a great amount of money per year. In the United States the average salary a year is $65,000. There is also different types of pediatric job offers. Depending on your knowledge, schooling, and occupation you could make up to $89,000 per year as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
