The memories of our past cloud our brains and torture our minds. Everyone needs someone to talk to, even if they think they don’t. If you had the chance to show yourself as someone always willing to help, would you? Sometimes all we need is to spill everything from their brains before we can ever even begin to heal up. People often find themselves crying without even realizing that it was something big enough to really be hurt all that much. While this pain which is bigger than life can hurt to let out, it will hurt even worse to keep it inside. Receiving advice can change a person forever, not just their perspective, not just their personality, everything can be changed, for better or for worse. Becoming a counselor could make you feel better on the inside, along with the help it would get another. And while money shouldn’t be what pulls someone into the job, the hourly pay is $24.86. From just a small toddler, all the way up to the last years of life, you could have the opportunity to help anyone, even create a “name” for yourself. Some day you just might need help and comfort and the advice given could help YOU begin the healing process. Sometimes the advice you give might not be because of tears shed, but instead it could be because someone found their "happiness" in causing themselves pain. Self harming is quite an issue in the modern time and often when someone is found doing it, nothing is done to help them realize that it will make matters worse in the long run. Some people even believe that a person is doing it for attention, but you never know what is really going on. If you were to become a counselor, you just could seriously save a life.
